Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate in Minnesota to assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and maintain overall store cleanliness to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. The role involves greeting customers, processing sales, following merchandising guidelines, and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include helping customers, handling cash accurately, stocking shelves, cleaning areas, and assisting with displays while adhering to safety

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise.
• Assist customers with merchandise as necessary.
• Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving area, set up sidewalk displays.
