Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Associate to join our store team. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, help set up plan-o-grams, stock and rotate merchandise, and maintain clean and organized store areas.

You will also operate the cash register, handle payments, and assist customers in locating products. The role includes unloading trucks, building displays, and contributing to teamwork and profitability while protecting company assets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers locating items.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner, total purchases and bag merchandise.
• Collect payments and make change; assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end and assist with sidewalk displays; comply with company policies.
