Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve customers as the point of contact in the store. You will assist customers in locating items, operate the register, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean and organized shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment and give change.
• Follow merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, clean restrooms and receiving area, and help set up sidewalk displays.
