Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and help maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

You will greet customers, operate the cash register, bag merchandise, and assist with stocking, displays, and housekeeping. The role requires following policies, safety practices, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and stock with rotation and facing.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to total purchases and bag items.
• Collect payment and make change; assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store, set up sidewalk displays, and comply with company policies.
