POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY MEASURES
POSITION: Team Member
DEPARTMENT: Retail Operations
REPORTS TO: Store Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Provide exceptional experiences to every customer using the Sell with Style steps.
- Professionally resolve all customer complaints, ensuring the customer leaves satisfied by listening, understanding, and finding a resolution.
- Share product knowledge for current add-ons when styling customers.
- Complete customer bag checks when required.
SALES
- Understand store targets set daily, weekly, and monthly, and track store performance regularly.
- Assist in achieving store sales and performance indicators.
- Track sales hourly using the store diary.
- Continuously improve all company KPIs and utilize store diary tools to achieve benchmarks.
EAR PIERCING
- Understand the proper use of the mechanical stud and clasp ear device.
- Provide safe and sanitary ear piercing services.
- Recognize tasks and procedures related to exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING AND HOUSEKEEPING
- Assist in merchandising and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Execute floor updates, range updates, and promotions as per planogram.
- Ensure signage is correct and up-to-date.
- Complete daily cleaning routines ('time to shine' and 'recovery').
- Keep the store clean and tidy, order cleaning supplies as needed.
- Log maintenance issues within 24 hours.
- Maintain a clean backroom with no stock stored there.
- Conduct regular store walks to identify safety issues.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
- Process stock according to company standards.
- Replenish stock within 24 hours of delivery.
- Complete stock audits weekly.
- Refill and organize products to Lovisa standards.
- Repair or scan out non-repairable faulty products promptly.
BRAND AMBASSADOR
- Present yourself according to Lovisa Style Guide.
- Wear the team piece on every shift.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times.
COMMUNICATION
- Read, understand, and act on all points in the Lowdown and notifications.
- Maintain open communication with the store team and utilize the store diary daily.
- Respond to phone calls within 24 hours and emails within 48 hours.
OTHER
- Comply with all aspects of the Lovisa Employee and Security Manuals.
- Stay updated on policies and procedures.
- Maintain security awareness and manage cash register balances.
- Be coachable, flexible, and proactive.
- Work hours as per roster, with prior approval for outside hours.
- Perform other duties and projects as required.
KEY MEASURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Achieve sales growth compared to last year.
- Meet or exceed average dollar and items per sale benchmarks.
- Achieve 15% or higher on add-on sales.
- Complete LOLA training with 90% or higher completion rate.
