Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and assist with product recommendations while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include merchandising, promotions, safety compliance, and contributing to a welcoming environment for both customers and teammates. This role emphasizes teamwork and adaptability across daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, push and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder or platform.

• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).

• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking. Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
