Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a store teammate in Champaign, IL to assist customers, maintain product presentation, and support store operations. You will engage customers, promote loyalty programs, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Stand, bend, stoop, reach, push/pull and lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly (up to 25 times/hour).
• Stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours); work at heights up to 4 feet.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs to support their shopping experience.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards with floor sets, signage, price changes, and replenishment.
• Promote programs such as loyalty, warranty sales, and credit card enrollment.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and SOPs; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).

• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking. Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Targeted Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
