Job summary

United Pacific is seeking a dedicated Sales Associate to support store operations with a focus on customer service and cash handling. You will learn to operate the register and POS systems while maintaining inventory security.

The role emphasizes safe, customer-focused service with opportunities (and eligibility) for benefits for full-time staff, including medical benefits for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
• Ability to work alone in the store for extended periods of time.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.
• Be able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Be physically able to lift, push, pull a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes of workday.
• Occasionally climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash handling and operating a cash register or POS system.
• Lighting/fixtures cleaning and maintenance.
• Ensure security of all inventory and currency to prevent theft and shrinkage.
• Report to Store Manager and follow company policies and procedures.
• Learn to operate cash register, computer console, and related equipment.
