Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of North Louisiana is seeking a full-time Retail Associate at the Alexandria Store, LA. You will provide friendly customer service, assist on the sales floor and at checkout, greet customers, and handle cash and credit transactions per Goodwill policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with prior retail or cashiering experience preferred. A background screening will be completed as a condition of employment, supporting a safe store environment.

Provides friendly, fast, accurate and safe customer service. Provides assistance to customers on the sales floor and promptly assists in checkout at the register. Monitors the entrance and greets all customers. Accurately operates cash register and credit/debit transactions in accordance with Goodwill policies and procedures. Must become familiar with all departments/categories to assist with customer questions and requests. Stocks and rotates merchandise on the sales floor. Assists with organization and merchandising of merchandise on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior retail sales and/or cashiering experience preferred.
