Position at Cash America Pawn

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

Pay Rate: $12.00 to $15.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process!

Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.99 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE.

Position Summary:

We seek entry-level, full-time sales associates at our pawn store locations nationwide. The role involves customer service on both lending and retail sides, engaging with customers, processing sales and loans, and handling various merchandise including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Handle cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer incoming calls professionally.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Create a positive customer experience.
• Complete training as assigned.
• Other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, climbing, etc.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• Minimum age 18, high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to serve customers and work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic math and cash handling (preferred).
• Flexible work location and schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and experience with POS systems.

Commission Plan:
