Cash America Pawn is hiring a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate in Houston to help customers with sales, loans and merchandise inquiries. You’ll earn hourly pay plus commission and enjoy flexible hours and employee discounts.

In this role you’ll greet customers, explain pawn terms, process transactions, maintain the sales floor, and support store operations with accuracy and integrity. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with pawn/loan services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
• Explain pawn terms, complete paperwork, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Process sales and loan activity accurately following policies.
• Evaluate merchandise condition and value for transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and displays.

Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

$10.00 – $14.00 per hour + Unlimited Commission

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Commission Information

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
