Bayou Pawn in Houston, TX is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer-focused service across pawn and loan products. Earn $10.00–$14.00 per hour plus commission, with benefits and growth opportunities.

You will greet customers, explain loan terms, process sales, maintain the sales floor, and ensure accurate transactions while following policies. Bilingual applicants encouraged; weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform light lifting.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Firearms in FFL locations require certification provided.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
• Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
• Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
• Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply

Commission Information

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
