Ashley HomeStore is hiring energetic and friendly professionals to serve as Retail Sales Associates. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for selling furniture, mattresses, and home décor through outstanding customer service in a fast-paced furniture retail environment. Sales experience is a plus, but no prior sales experience is necessary to apply! Top performers can earn over $100,000 annually.

Compensation

• Paid on written sales
• Commission-based with guaranteed hourly wage of $11
• Potential earnings of up to $100,000 or more
• Entry into the President's Club for top retail sales associates, earning an annual all-inclusive getaway for two

Key Responsibilities

• Interacting and assisting customers in a furniture retail sales environment
• Determining customer needs and advising on purchases
• Supporting customers directly or by assisting coworkers
• Demonstrating effective closing skills
• Accurately entering information into the point-of-sale system
• Handling purchase paperwork and tracking orders
• Following up with customers post-sale
• Collaborating with team members to enhance customer experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus
