Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets is hiring for part-time roles to support daily store operations and customer service. You’ll help merchandise products, maintain quality and food safety standards, and ensure shelves and displays are fully stocked for a great shopping experience.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, keeping displays fresh and organized, rotating stock, and supporting inventory and merchandising activities across Bakery, Cheese, Deli, Produce, Meat, and Seafood departments.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and friendly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic food safety awareness or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers promptly
• Keep cases and shelves clean, stocked, and well-displayed
• Monitor product quality, rotate stock, and check expiration dates
• Unload deliveries and support routine merchandising and inventory tasks
• Assist in multiple departments including Bakery, Cheese, Deli, Produce, Meat, and Seafood

What You'll Do

• Provide incredible customer service and address the needs of customers in a timely & effective manner
• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well-stocked
• Monitor product quality, rotate inventory, check expiration dates, and remove damaged or out-of-date items
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department while unloading deliveries and supporting inventory and merchandising activities
