Job summary

Ollie’s Store in Roseville, MI is hiring a Retail Sales Associate to deliver friendly customer service and maintain a clean, organized store.

You will greet customers, process transactions at the register, and stay informed on promotions to help sales. You’ll assist with receiving, pricing, merchandising, and donations while keeping the store looking its best and supporting a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer to build loyalty using Ollie's care approach.
• Accurately and efficiently handle cash register transactions.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions to answer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving trucks, pricing items, merchandising, and restoring the store.
• Maintain store appearance and perform additional tasks as assigned.

The Retail Sales Associate assists Ollie's customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. Retail Sales Associates are responsible for all aspects of customer service, running registers, merchandising, and store maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer with Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" approach to build long term customer loyalty.
• Accurately and efficiently manage cash register transactions.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
