EZCORP is hiring for a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) in Pompano Beach, FL. Start as a Trainee in a 5-week paid program with a $.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion.

Progress to certified Pawnbroker and potential Lead Pawnbroker and Assistant Manager roles. The position offers competitive pay starting at $15.00–$16.00 per hour, with bonus potential and benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holiday pay, and store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Here's what you can expect as a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) : This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our customer service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.

Other Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) : duties include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting with customers in person and on the phone
• Processing sales, loans, and extensions
• Performing opening and closing store duties

Requirements for the Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker) role include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well independently and as member of a team
• Ability to multitask
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer)
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
