Job summary

Mariasch Studios, Inc. is seeking a Weekend Sales Associate for our Bryant Park holiday shop. You will run the booth on Saturdays and Sundays, greet customers, suggest gifts, process sales, restock merchandise, and maintain an inviting display in a fast-paced, seasonal setting.

Open and close the shop, perform cash counts, and reconcile daily sales. The role suits someone with a friendly, reliable, and proactive mindset who enjoys winter markets and helping customers find joyful gifts.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Available Saturdays and Sundays 9 a.m.–8 p.m. throughout the season.
• Comfort with cash handling and basic POS procedures.

Weekend Sales Associate — Bryant Park Holiday Market

Mariasch Studios is hiring a weekend sales associate for our Bryant Park holiday shop from October 23 through January 3.. We’re a woman-owned gift company with more than 36 years in the gift industry and a loyal following. Our witty, feel-good gifts are made to bring smiles, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys sharing them..

The role

You’ll help run our busy booth on Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll greet customers, suggest gifts, handle sales, restock merchandise, and keep the shop inviting. You’ll also be responsible for opening and closing, cash counts, and end-of-day reconciliation. This role requires someone who can work independently and make good decisions when the market gets hectic..

You’ll be a great fit if you:

• Are warm, outgoing, reliable, and have a great sense of humor..
• Can read the room and adapt your approach to each customer..
• Take initiative and stay organized in a fast-paced setting..
• Enjoy working in winter weather at a holiday market..
• Are available both Saturdays and Sundays between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. throughout the season.
