Purpose at Ashley

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will transform store guests into loyal customers. You’ll guide guests, create inspiration, enthusiasm, and excitement about Ashley’s products. You help guests discover styles that reflect their lives and design rooms they will love. This role is ideal for entrepreneurial, focused, and ambitious sales professionals passionate about lifestyle retail and thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver world-class service and delight guests.
• Provide outstanding service, maintain a welcoming presence, and engage with guests professionally.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, adhering to cash handling protocols.
• Assist customers with credit applications and financing, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Support store opening and closing activities, including cash reconciliation and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention, including participation in inventory checks.
• Meet and exceed sales goals aligned with KPIs and performance standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

What You Bring

• Legal authorization to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of customer service/sales experience preferred.
• Outgoing, friendly, and easy to talk to.
• Ability to convey information inspiring action.
• Excited to develop and share new ideas.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable attendance.
