Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking Sales Associates to deliver friendly, accurate service and help customers select products for their projects. Positions available include full-time and part-time roles, with an emphasis on rapid, accurate service in a fast-paced sales floor environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, maintaining stock, and following safety procedures while contributing to store goals and a positive shopper experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Customer service experience.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through Floor & Decor (where permissible by state law).

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers and advise on products to complete their projects.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain in-stock condition and keep areas clean, shoppable, and safe.
• Process transactions at checkout using the POS system.
• Handle refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs; stock and display merchandise.
• Follow safety policies and company values.
• Answer phones per guidelines and assist in other store areas as needed.

Pay Range$17.00 - $20.60Purpose:Floor & Decor’s Sales Associates play a key role in continuously providing customers with friendly, accurate service and support in finding products to complete their project. Our Sales Associates contribute to a fast pace, safe environment by keeping sales departments clean and well stocked. Stock, tag and display merchandise.Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes.Answer telephone according to the company guidelines.Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.Minimum Eligibility Requirements:Must be 18 years or older.Knowledge of basic math skills.Customer service experience.Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.Some positions may require completion of forklift certifications through F&D.Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.Working Conditions (travel & environment)While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.Physical/Sensory RequirementsAbility exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
