Job summary

Michaels Lexington Park, MD is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to help customers find products, check out purchases, and provide a fast, friendly shopping experience. You’ll participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram maintenance to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You will promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assist with BOPIS/SFS Omni-channel tasks, and ensure SOPs are followed to support Michaels’ brand promises.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced public retail setting.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Process checkout transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and store recovery to maintain in-stock, well-merchandised shelves.
• Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Participate in Omni-channel tasks such as Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
