Job summary

EZCORP’s EZPAWN brand in Lawrence, IN is seeking team members to assist customers with sales, pawn loans, and extensions in a friendly, fast-paced store. You will greet customers, process transactions, and support store operations.

Starting as a Trainee in a 5-week paid program, you will earn a $.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion, with a Certification Program and potential promotion to Lead Pawnbroker or Assistant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and handling in-person and phone interactions.

What you can expect

This role will give you the opportunity to interact with customers daily, helping with sales and enjoying the give and take of coming to a mutually satisfying agreement regarding pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more. As part of our customer service team in our stores, you will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment that continues to set us apart from the competition.

Requirements

• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer)
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus
