Kelley’s Market in Lake Geneva, WI is hiring Retail Sales Associates to help customers and keep our convenience store running smoothly. In this hands‑on role, you’ll provide friendly customer service, handle cashier transactions, stock shelves and coolers, and help maintain a clean, welcoming store.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Provide friendly, dependable customer service in a busy retail environment.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store leadership.
• Use basic math skills to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in coolers, freezers, and outdoor conditions.
• Obtain an alcohol sales operator license where required.

Responsibilities

• Help Our Customers: Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service, operate the cash register and POS system, process purchases and refunds, and answer questions about products and promotions.
• Keep the Store Ready: Stock shelves and displays, keep the sales floor and restrooms clean, including fuel pumps and the car wash where applicable, maintain Kelley’s Café areas following food safety procedures.
• Support Your Team: Complete shift paperwork, assist with cash and safe reconciliation, follow safety and cash-handling procedures, communicate concerns to store leadership, work with the team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Pay: $15–$18 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Weekend Differential: Additional $3 per hour for hours worked Saturday or Sunday.

What You’ll Do

Help Our Customers

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Operate the cash register and point‑of‑sale system, process purchases and refunds, and handle cash accurately.
• Answer questions about products, prices, and promotions.

Keep the Store Ready

• Stock and organize shelves, coolers, freezers, and merchandise displays.
• Keep the sales floor, restrooms, and exterior areas clean, including fuel pumps and the car wash where applicable.
• Maintain clean, stocked Kelley’s Café food and beverage areas and follow food safety procedures.

Support Your Team

• Complete shift paperwork and assist with cash and safe reconciliation.
• Follow safety, security, and cash‑handling procedures.
• Communicate customer concerns, equipment problems, and other issues to store leadership.
• Work with your team to keep daily store operations running smoothly.

What We Offer

Pay

• $15–$18 per hour, based on relevant experience, knowledge, skills, education, and certifications.
• An additional $3 per hour for weekend hours. Differential hours vary by location.
