JOB TYPE - Permanent, Full-time
HOURS - 34-40 hours per week. Must have complete open working availability throughout the week from Mondays to Sundays between the hours of 9:00AM to 10:00PM.
The hourly pay range for this role is $19.52 - $27.86
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage customers in need of assistance, accurately identify their requirements through insightful questioning, and recommend optimal home solutions.
- Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, Introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.
- Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked.
- Express enthusiasm for IKEA products by consistently expanding knowledge of their features and benefits. Share this expertise with customers to guide their decision-making, ultimately enriching their shopping experience.
- Understand the store and department action plans. Actively contribute to achieving your department's goals.
- Implement, maintain and change out Add-Ons throughout the store, as needed, to help achieve sales volume, conversion and Gross Margin goals, and promote vitality.
- Optimize sales and maintain profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters (sales location management) to secure high stock availability.
- Support the implementation and upkeep of planned commercial activities in, or involving, your range.
- Develop specialized knowledge through training to be able to sell and plan basic modular furniture solutions.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant sales work experience, actively selling products and services.
- Experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
- Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
