Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Front End Specialist to assist customers, operate the register, and help maintain the store front area. You will greet shoppers, answer questions about promotions, and support store merchandising and appearance.

The role emphasizes a positive attitude, teamwork, and a willingness to engage customers. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred to cover peak times and support a busy retail floor.

Qualifications

• 6 months of prior retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and exiting the store and near the front-end.
• Operate the register accurately and process refunds for other associates.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions to answer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Internal Job Title: Front End Specialist

Position Overview

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The Front End Specialist is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front-end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front-end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register, approve refunds for other Associates, and assist with training new Associates.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
