Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Davenport, IA is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to greet customers, operate the register, and keep displays neat. The role requires flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and contributes to a welcoming store experience for donors and shoppers.

You will assist with stocking, merchandise preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment while working with a team to meet daily sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing
• Ability to provide friendly customer service
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Basic communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise
• Experience with a POS system is a plus

Location: Davenport, Iowa Pay: $12.00 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 20 to 29 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a friendly, dependable Retail Sales Associate to provide great customer service, keep the store organized, and help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers and donors.

What You’ll Do
