Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Columbus, MS is hiring a Front End Specialist to assist customers and maintain store appearance. You will handle front-end operations, merchandising, and customer service with a focus on the register and front-end experience.

The role requires basic retail experience, ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and a positive team attitude to serve customers effectively. Ollie’s offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for growth.

Internal Job Title:

Position Overview:

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The Front End Specialist is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front-end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front-end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register, a pprove refunds for other Associates, and a ssist with training new Associates.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 6 months of prior retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
