Ashley HomeStore is hiring energetic and friendly professionals to serve as Retail Sales Associates. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for selling furniture, mattresses, and home décor through outstanding customer service in a fast-paced furniture retail environment. Sales experience is a plus, but no prior sales experience necessary to apply! Top performers can earn over $100,000 annually.

Compensation

• Paid on written sales
• Commission based with a guaranteed hourly wage of $12.48
• Potential earnings of up to $100,000 or more
• Entry into the President's Club for top sales associates, earning an annual all-inclusive getaway for two

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a furniture retail sales environment
• Identify customer needs and advise on purchases
• Support customers directly or assist coworkers
• Demonstrate effective closing skills
• Accurately process sales transactions and enter data into the POS system
• Handle purchase paperwork and track orders
• Follow up with customers post-sale
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer experience
• Contribute to meeting sales goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor
• Availability to work retail hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Strong organizational and communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus
