Wild Bill’s Tobacco is hiring for a store role that emphasizes friendly customer service and sales in a fast-paced retail setting. You will greet customers, respond to inquiries, and build relationships to suggest products while working toward sales goals.

The role includes opening/closing duties, cash handling, and ensuring a clean, stocked store. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in retail or customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers visiting the store, including greeting, answering phones, and assessing their needs in a positive manner.
• Answers questions and resolves customer inquiries and concerns.
• Create relationships with customers in order to suggest products.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Participate in opportunities to gain product knowledge to be the expert.
• Promote the brand inside and outside the store/retail location.
• Assist with all functions within a retail store in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Ability to travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage.
• Open and close the store including cash handling, inventory counts and deposits.
• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain store appearance, back room, restrooms, and individual work area.
• Build customers’ confidence by making their experience comfortable and simple while meeting needs.
• Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all functions within a retail store in compliance with company policies and procedures.


• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store for customers.


• Follow all Company policies and procedures.


• Ability to travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage.


• Work with store management in opening, closing, and operating the retail facility, including but not limited to cash handling, inventory count and deposits as governed by operations control standards.


• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and procedures.


• Ensure maintenance of store appearance, back room, restrooms, and individual work area.


• Build customers’ confidence by making their experience comfortable and simple while meeting their needs.


• Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.


• Open and close the store which includes locking doors and setting the alarm.


• Must be able to work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor.


• Must be able to twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent


• Must be at least 21 years old


• Experience in retail environments and customer service


• Professional, energetic and positive attitude.


• Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills.


• Flexible scheduling availability.
