Job summary

Wild Bill’s Tobacco is seeking a retail associate to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and promote sales. You’ll work on the sales floor, assist with opening and closing, cash handling, and ensuring a clean, well-stocked store within a 15-mile radius of your home store.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 21 years old, retail experience, and a positive attitude. Flexible schedules, growth opportunities, and employee discounts are offered; full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers visiting the store, greet, answer phones, and assess needs.
• Answers questions and resolves customer inquiries and concerns.
• Create relationships with customers to suggest products.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Promote the brand and participate in marketing efforts to solicit new business.
• Assist with all store functions in line with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage.
• Open/close the store, handle cash, manage inventory counts and deposits.
• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions per policy.
• Maintain store appearance, back room, restrooms, and work areas.
• Build customer confidence by making experiences comfortable and simple.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers visiting the store, including greeting, answering phones, and assessing their needs in a positive manner.
• Answers questions and resolves customer inquiries and concerns.
• Create relationships with customers in order to suggest products.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Participate in opportunities to gain product knowledge in order to be the expert.
• Participate in marketing efforts to solicit new business by promoting the brand inside and outside the store/retail location.
• Assist with all functions within a retail store in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Ability to travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage.
• Work with store management in opening, closing, and operating the retail facility, including but not limited to cash handling, inventory count and deposits as governed by operations control standards.
• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure maintenance of store appearance, back room, restrooms, and individual work area.
• Build customers’ confidence by making their experience comfortable and simple while meeting their needs.
• Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.
• Open and close the store which includes locking doors and setting the alarm.
• Must be able to work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours standing on the sales floor.
• Must be able to twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience in retail environments and customer service

• Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills.
