Job summary

The Women's Bean Project is launching a new airport retail popup at Denver International Airport. As a Retail Sales Ambassador, you will represent the nonprofit brand, engage travelers, drive sales, and provide a memorable, mission-driven customer experience.

This contract role lasts 6 to 8 months with potential for extension based on performance and the venture's success. You will work a fast-paced kiosk environment, stand for long periods, and collaborate with a passionate team.

Qualifications

• Sales, retail, hospitality or customer service experience.
• Confident, friendly, engaging communication style.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Computer skills and POS system proficiency.
• Able to obtain required airport credentials and background check.

Position Overview

Women's Bean Project is on a mission to expand our reach and serve more women in the Denver community. As a Retail Sales Ambassador, you'll play a key role in our growth as we launch an exciting new retail popup at Denver International Airport. This is much more than a sales position. It's an opportunity to shape a new retail venture while representing a brand with a powerful purpose. We're looking for a passionate, results-oriented sales professional who is excited about our gourmet food products and deeply connected to our mission of transforming lives through employment.

As a Retail Sales Ambassador, you'll be the face of Women's Bean Project at our airport kiosk. You'll create memorable customer experiences, drive sales, identify opportunities to upsell, and introduce travelers from around the world to our products and the women whose lives they help transform.

This is a 6 to 8-month contract position, with the potential for extension based on the success and continued operation of the retail venture.

What You'll Do

• Represent the brand: Be a welcoming, enthusiastic ambassador for Women's Bean Project and our mission.
• Drive sales: Proactively engage customers and recommend products.
• Create memorable experiences: Connect with travelers and make every interaction positive, personal, and mission-driven.
• Increase revenue:
  Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products while meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Tell our story: Educate customers about Women's Bean Project, our products, and how employment with supportive services helps women create lasting change.
• Maintain the kiosk: Help maintain a clean, organized, attractive and fully stocked retail environment.
• Be a team player: Collaborate with the Women's Bean Project team to help launch, refine, and grow this exciting new retail venture!

Experience and Qualifications You'll Need

• Sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience
• A confident, friendly, and engaging communication style
• A demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Computer skills and POS system proficiency
• Ability to successfully complete the required background check and obtain and maintain all credentials and security badges required to work at Denver International Airport

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to safely lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds
• Able to crouch, push, and pull to stock products for sale or reach for customers
