Hammond Lumber Company is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate for our Machias, Maine location. You will wait on customers in person, on the phone and via email, and process orders for building materials.

The role includes stocking shelves and some lifting, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates have prior customer service or sales experience, with a preference for 1 year knowledge of building materials and strong telephone skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or sales.
• 1 year knowledge of building materials preferred, but not required.
• Excellent telephone skills preferred.
