Job Family Group: Retail Banking Sales & Service

Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects. Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions that are in the best interests of customers. Works collaboratively within the branch and with BMO partners to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.

Additional Requirements: U.S. Only: This position will act as an originator of consumer loans as defined by Regulation Z, Regulation G, and the S.A.F.E. Act. Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry is required, along with a criminal background review and credit history evaluation.

• Proactively engages with existing customers and prospects to assess needs and grow loyalty.
• Recommends tailored financial solutions and promotes digital banking options.
• Supports customer transactions and builds new community relationships.
• Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policies in lending and customer service.
• Makes credit recommendations for personal and home financing loans.
• Collaborates effectively within the branch and market team.
• Maintains current knowledge of financial products, market trends, and compliance requirements.
• Handles escalations and complex tasks within regulatory and policy guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary education or equivalent.
• Registration to sell investment products (Canada only) and appropriate lending qualifications.
• Knowledge of personal and small business banking needs, retail investments, and lending products.
• Experience in financial services and proficiency with digital tools.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $41,715.00 - $67,000.00
