Regional Sales Manager – Southeast USA, Retail Division
Position Summary:
Bridor is seeking a high-performing, entrepreneurial-minded Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our retail business across the Southeast USA, covering the SunBelt region from Florida to Texas.
This is an exciting role for a go-getter who loves knocking on doors, building strong relationships, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate has a progressive track record in retail food sales, especially in in-store bakery and deli, and understands how to navigate the category review process. Bakery sales experience in the retail space is a big plus and will help accelerate success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development by calling on retail customers, particularly in-store bakery and deli departments
- Leverage a deep understanding of the category review process to win shelf space and grow product placements
- Build strategic business plans for key retail accounts to support long-term growth and profitability
- Strengthen and expand relationships with brokers, distributors, and retail decision-makers
- Deliver impactful product presentations, host baking demos, and lead product training sessions
- Track and analyze retail trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to adapt strategies in real time
- Represent Bridor at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events across the region
Who You Are:

- A proven sales professional with a progressive track record of growing business in the retail grocery space
- Experienced in calling on in-store bakery and deli departments—bakery sales experience in retail is a big plus
- Deeply familiar with the Southeast grocery retail landscape, with established industry relationships
- Skilled at building trust, delivering value, and winning customer loyalty
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and driven to build something great
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of sales experience in the retail food sector, with a strong preference for bakery-related experience
- Proven success managing a regional territory and building long-term customer relationships
- Expertise in the category review process and grocery retail sales cycles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bakery industry sales experience strongly preferred
- Experience working within the Southeast region (Florida to Texas) and established network in that market
- Knowledge of food safety and compliance standards (GMPs, HACCP, BRC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms like Salesforce
Working Conditions:
- Travel required: 50–70% throughout the Southeast/SunBelt
- Remote/home-office based role with high autonomy and flexibility
- 40+ hour workweek, including occasional weekend events or shows
