Job summary

The TJ Maxx store in Commack, NY is hiring a store associate to execute receiving and merchandising standards, help customers, and maintain a clean, organized store. You’ll train with leadership, coordinate with the team, and contribute to loss-prevention and safety efforts.

Requirements include strong communication, ability to multitask, flexibility to work nights and weekends, and at least 1 year of retail experience with 6 months of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure Associates process efficiently and effectively
• Provide excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Coordinate with management to ensure flow of goods to the sales floor and maintain inventory organization
• Support store safety, loss prevention, and adherence to policies and procedures
