Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a store associate to provide fast, friendly and accurate customer service while maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment in Clarksville, TN. You will perform floor cleaning, department upkeep and basic upkeep tasks to minimize shrink and support daily operations.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork, the ability to learn multiple tasks, and adherence to company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Sweep and clean floors during nights with no scheduled vendor services.
• Weekly cleaning of Produce, Market and Deli Departments.
• Follow QA daily check list and sanitation standards.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Report accidents and observe local, state and federal regulations.
