Job Summary:

The Retail Production Associate I primarily works in a production environment processing and sorting donated items to determine which will be placed on the sales floor. Responsibilities include pricing, testing, stocking, and providing excellent customer service. The associate may work in various areas such as hardlines, softlines, housewares, electronics, books, or shoes, and may occasionally handle donations.

Essential Functions:

• Meet or exceed productivity standards and KPIs.
• Sort donated items by type, season, color, and quality.
• Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare items for sale.
• Inspect and test items for functionality.
• Price items according to company standards, researching values as needed.
• Keep the sales floor organized, stocked, and clean.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to product inquiries.
• Manage inventory by rotating or removing old or unsold products.
• Process E-Commerce products as needed.
• Follow retail policies, safety procedures, and participate in cross-training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.
• Attention to detail, decision-making ability, and effective communication skills required.
• Ability to use basic technologies, assess product quality and value, and operate equipment like dollies and pallet jacks.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
