Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Texas Inc. is seeking a part-time Retail Production Associate in Kingsville, TX. You will sort and process donations, tag and price items, and help maintain store goals while providing courteous customer service.

The role requires the ability to stand, lift up to 25 lbs with assistance, and follow safety procedures. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

• Accept donations and provide receipts on request.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area presentable to the public.
• Attend scheduled meetings as required.
• Perform custodial duties as necessary.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures to protect people and property.
• Support department and agency objectives and comply with policies.

Retail Production Associate

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Retail Production Associate are responsible for sorting and processing textiles and wares. The RTA is expected to be courteous and professional while upholding the Goodwill values of -Empowerment, Public Trust, Respect, Innovation, Quality, and Safety.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, AND DUTIES

• Process donations for hanging, tagging, tallying, and pricing
• Maintain production levels to achieve store goals
• When required, courteously address customer complaints, referring to the Store Manager or Crew Leader as necessary
• Ensures inventory is distributed efficiently within store fixtures
• Accept donations from the general public as needed, providing donation receipt upon request from the donor
• Maintains a clean, organized work area that is presentable to the general public and meets agency standards
• Attend scheduled meetings as required
• Perform custodial duties as necessary
• Adhere to and enforce all safety and loss prevention procedures to prevent injury to others or him/herself and damage to any property, equipment, and/or inventory
• Embrace the core values of the agency in the spirit in which the agency operates at work and in the community
• Contribute to the fulfillment of department and agency objectives and goals
• Comply with all department and agency policies, procedures, and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, stoop, bend, and crouch for extended periods
• Weather conditions – variable – including extreme heat and cold, may work outside for extended periods
• Ability to work in a humid and/or dusty environment
• Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. or more with 2-person assistance
