Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Retail Product & Pricing Specialist in Rochester, MN. The role emphasizes maintaining department standards for customer service, pricing accuracy, and product availability across the grocery department.

You will interact with customers, assist with product placement, and support management reporting while ensuring accurate pricing, proper signage, and timely replenishment to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong basic math skills
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains the department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness, sanitation, professional appearance and overall profitability.
• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store.
• Utilizes product management software to minimize out of stocks and ensure correct item parameters and signage to maximize sales and profits.
• Assists customers by guiding them to products, securing items, loading/unloading heavy items, and relaying customer requests.
• Performs inventory and pricing verification in accordance with Hy-Vee policy and assists with gross profit analysis and management reporting.
• Works with upper management on product placement for new items and resets to ensure timely presentation of products to customers.
• Maintains or reduces obsolete inventory and monitors excess stock to minimize waste and markdowns.
