Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is looking for a Retail Product & Pricing Specialist to support the Grocery department with pricing accuracy, shelf presentation, and customer service excellence. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and monitor promotions to maximize store profitability.

The role requires strong math skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that items are correctly priced, signed, and available for

Qualifications

Must be able to solve practical problems; handle multiple variables with limited standardization.
Ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
Experience interviewing others to obtain basic information and guide people to provide direction.

Responsibilities

Maintains a positive attitude and creates an atmosphere of friendliness and teamwork.
Provides prompt, courteous, and efficient service to customers and sets a good example.
Maintains department standards for customer service, employee relations, cleanliness and profitability.
Uses product management software to minimize out-of-stocks and manage pricing and signage.
Assists with gross profit analysis and other management reporting functions.
Ensures inventory information is accurate for monthly inventory.
