Job summary

Staples is seeking a Print Specialist to provide exceptional customer service for print needs. You will produce professionally finished products using print equipment and collaborate in a fast-paced store environment.

Training in print is provided, and frequent opportunities for in-person interviews may arise after applying. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assessing print needs, capturing project details, and assisting with self-service tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling print orders.
• Basic computer skills to open, save and send files, and use word processing software.
• Ability to collaborate in a high-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the Print Solutions department and respond quickly and attentively.
• Ask open-ended questions to understand copy/print needs and build relationships.
• Use intake tools to capture project information and offer a total print solution.
• Assist customers with tasks in the self-service area and with PC rentals.
• Ask qualifying questions during consultations to generate potential leads.
• Perform other duties as assigned (e.g., shipping assistance).

Play a key role in helping your store and your customer win.

• Greet customers as they enter the Print Solutions department and respond quickly and attentively
• Ask open ended questions to build relationships and understand customers copy print needs
• Use order intake tools to capture project information and offer an appropriate total print solution
• Assist customers with tasks in the self-service area utilizing the copy machines and PC rentals
• Ask qualifying questions during consultation to generate potential leads
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (e.g., assist customers with shipping, etc.)

• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to lift and move supplies in the 10 - 50 pound range, stand and walk continuously
