Mackenthun’s Fine Foods - Minnetrista is seeking a part-time Retail Pricing Specialist to maintain price accuracy and signage across the store, check in vendor deliveries, and process invoicing. The role supports daily store operations and delivers Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience through friendly customer service.

You will enter new items into pricing systems, prepare promotional signage, and collaborate with department managers to ensure pricing aligns with store requirements, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Retail or grocery experience preferred.
• Excellent English communication and professional interaction.
• Strong math and data entry skills with 10-key proficiency.
• Able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Check in Vendor deliveries.
• Audit vendor invoices for accurate costs, allowances, and item counts.
• Ensure products are priced accurately and consistently.
• Entering new items & ensuring accurate price signage.
• Prepare and ensure that all pricing signage is correctly displayed, reflecting accurate prices, sales, and promotions.
• Assist with occasional inventory reporting and price changes.
• Assist in maintaining product classifications.
• Work with department managers to ensure pricing aligns with store requirements, including the timely processing of incoming products and updating pricing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Join our Pricing Team! The Retail Pricing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product pricing and signage throughout the store as well as checking in vendor deliveries and invoicing. This role supports the stores by maintaining price accuracy, entering new items into the pricing system, and preparing promotional signage. This position plays a key role in delivering Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience by providing excellent customer service and assisting with daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Check in Vendor deliveries.
• Audit vendor invoices for accurate costs, allowances, and item counts.
• Ensure products are priced accurately and consistently.
• Entering new items & ensuring accurate price signage.
• Prepare and ensure that all pricing signage is correctly displayed, reflecting accurate prices, sales, and promotions.
• Assist with occasional inventory reporting and price changes.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience: Prior grocery store or retail experience is preferred.
• Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and ability to interact professionally with managers, coworkers, vendors and customers.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Google Email, Google Workspace, and internet usage. Ability to learn and use various computer systems and pricing technologies.
  • Strong math skills with proficiency in 10-key data entry.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent data entry skills and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Outgoing, energetic, and dependable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions, Physical Demands, and Availability

• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Average of 15 hours per week with daytime hours to include Saturday morning availability.
