Job summary

City of Hope seeks a Sr Pharmacy Technician for the Retail Pharmacy PRN role. Under supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will assist in preparing and distributing patient medications, maintain inventory, and support regulatory compliance and billing.

The position requires a Georgia tech license and CPhT certification within one year of hire. PRN availability Monday–Friday 8:30a–5:00p, with responsibilities including sterile IV medications per USP standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g. GED).
• Current Georgia Pharmacy Technician License.
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status within 1 year of employment (if lapses during employment then 1 year to reinstate).

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and distribution of patient medications.
• Maintain inventory and stock medications across the hospital.
• Support regulatory compliance and billing records; assist with regulatory inspections.

Education

Current Georgia Pharmacy Technician License

National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) within 1 year
