EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in pharmacy or as a technician
  • Licenses and Certifications: (TSBP) Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist Intern, or Basic Life Support Certification (AHA or ARC)

Preferred:

  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certified Sterile Prep Technician
JOB DUTIES
  • Perform responsibilities per organizational policies, procedures, and standards, including infection control.
  • Coordinate workflow, provide leadership, perform extemporaneous compounding, repackage medications, and manage inventory.
  • Accurately fill orders, perform IV calculations, prepare IV admixtures, and handle chemotherapy medications.
  • Provide prompt service, manage controlled substances, and participate in audits and inspections.
  • Assist with inventory management, participate in training, and maintain a professional work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including direct patient or research interactions if applicable.
