Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in delivering patient care and services in compliance with laws, regulations, and Piedmont policies. The technician will operate under the supervision of the Pharmacist on duty and support physicians and patients as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and current registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; prefer some experience.
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician upon hire or
• Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern upon hire

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in providing service to patients and physicians in accordance with laws and company standards.
• Supervised by the Pharmacist on duty.
