Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I, Retail, to join the Skokie Hospital team. The role supports pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining patient records, and stocking supplies in a fast-paced retail healthcare setting.

The position requires an Illinois tech license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred CPhT certification with up to two years to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is preferred; must become certified by passing the PTCB exam or an equivalent board-approved exam within 2 years of initial licensure.
• Prior technician or hospital experience is preferred; retail experience is preferred for retail positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medications.
• Maintain patient records, set up, package and label medication doses.
• Maintain inventory of drug supplies.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license

CPhT preferred; must pass PTCB or board-approved exam within 2 years
