Job summary

ProMedica Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Toledo Hospital in the Pharmacy Logistics department. The role involves data entry, prescription fulfillment, packaging and shipping, and coordinating with patients, physicians, insurers, and manufacturers.

You will assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, receive and inventory drug orders, and support maintenance of pharmacy operations. Per diem schedule with varied days and potential weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician registration or Pharmacy Intern License with Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Michigan Board of Pharmacy license with restrictions and expected license within 6 months if working in Michigan.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT).

Responsibilities

• Data entry, prescription fulfillment, packaging and shipping of orders.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Interact with patients, physicians, insurance companies, and manufacturers.
