Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Idaho Falls. You will assist with pharmacy operations, prepare medications under a pharmacist, and ensure accurate dispensing with proper checks.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with professionals.
• Possession of a valid Idaho driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification within one year of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounded or other pharmaceuticals under pharmacist supervision.
• All prescriptions checked by a licensed pharmacist before dispensing.
• Perform clerical tasks to support pharmacy operations.
• Maintain records, handle billing, phone and counter reception as directed.
• May run errands as needed and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Comply with PCI standards and company policies for payment security.
