Job summary

Trinity Health in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in filling, processing and packaging prescriptions in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, Michigan Pharmacy Technician license, and strong typing and communication skills; retail pharmacy experience is preferred.

Under general supervision, according to established procedures, performs various clerical and technical duties necessary to support the operation of a retail pharmacy. Assists pharmacist in filling, processing and packaging of prescriptions.

• Basic typing and keyboard skills.
• Able to perform basic bookkeeping skills.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with patients and/or patients medical care team.
• Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of Trinity Health.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the State of Michigan.
