Job summary

Syracuse Area Health North Clinic in Weeping Water, NE seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist with preparing, dispensing, and monitoring medications under the Pharmacist's supervision. This full-time role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician experience in retail preferred.

Job Details

Job Location: Syracuse Area Health North Clinic - Weeping Water, NE 68463, Under the direction of the Pharmacist, this position will assist with the process of preparing, dispensing, and monitoring medications as prescribed and ordered by a licensed provider and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Must promote teamwork and be a role model to others.

This position is a benefited full-time role, totaling 40 hours per week, schedule to be determined. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School grad or equivalent


• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills


• Strong problem-solving skills


• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks and be a self-starter


• Proficient computer and cash register skills


• Strong organization and communication skills


• Previous Retail experience preferred


• Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy or obtained within first 30 days


• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred and/or required within 12 months of date of hire


• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience, in a retail setting preferred
