Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee daily retail pharmacy operations at the Boca Grande Health Clinic. You will supervise staff, ensure safe dispensing, support onboarding, and maintain regulatory compliance across the department.

The role requires a Florida- or Compact State-licensed Pharmacist with a PharmD/BS in Pharmacy and pharmacy residency or equivalent experience, including at least three years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy required.
• License/Registration issued by Florida or a Compact State as Pharmacist.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency or equivalent community/institutional experience; minimum 3 years in a pharmacy management/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership for daily activities of retail pharmacy services.
• Supervise assigned pharmacy staff and support onboarding and competency assessment.
• Maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure safe, efficient medication dispensing, non-sterile preparation, customer service, inventory, and financial oversight.
• Perform responsibilities of a registered pharmacist when required.
